Who Am I?

Jorge Infante is a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician. He is a full time Emergency Medicine clinician. He is a staff physician at multiple facilities in South Carolina, Florida and Louisiana and is licensed also in West Virginia. He is residency trained and has over 15 years of clinical practice experience in Emergency Medicine. Over his career he has treated well over 45,000 patients and has practiced throughout the southeastern United States. He is an expert in Emergency Medicine.

During his career he has initiated quality assurance protocols, risk-mitigation protocols, educated advanced practice provider students, medical students, residents and fellow board-certified physicians. He has particular expertise in Ultrasound, Critical Care and Airway stabilization techniques. In addition, his work in a variety of settings allows for intimate practical knowledge of EMTALA requirements and violations.

Why Me?

Dr Infante’s unique clinical work history gives him insight into appropriateness of care and standard of care in a variety of clinical settings. He has practiced in different types of hospitals including: academic centers, trauma centers, stroke centers, chest pain centers and in rural, urban and community(suburban) settings. His intricate knowledge of the different resources available in each of these settings allows him to give a more precise evaluation of the standard of care and whether it was met. His expertise as an Emergency Medicine provider and clinical knowledge also allows for thorough evaluation into the appropriateness of the medical evaluation and treatment given in the case.
