The Intangibles

I am a career Emergency Medicine Physician whose focus has always been caring for each patient as a whole person. Part and parcel of providing quality emergency medical care is ensuring that I am educated in the latest techniques, treatments, and science and applying them, with compassion, to every patient I treat. I am proud to share these passions with scores of my healthcare colleagues. When I serve as a medical expert witness, I carry these convictions into my work. I, too, want to see justice served – for patients who have been harmed as well as for providers who met the standard of care, as not all unsatisfactory outcomes are the result of medical malpractice or negligence. Each case, like each patient, is important and unique. As an expert witness, I am accessible to counsel, diligent in my work, and able to explain complex medical conditions and treatment in an easily understandable way. My job is to make the complex simple and never lose sight of what a privilege it is to treat patients and serve justice.
